    laptop internet via wap\umts?

    is it possible to surf the web by the phones internet in a laptop via wap\umts and not by data connection?

    Yes, it is possible. You need a phone which have a wap/internet connection. For further information visit your operator's site. Then you need to install the Sony Ericsson PC Suite(you can download from sonyericsson official site) for modem drivers, and create an account with Mobile network wizard(part of Sony Ericsson PC Suite). Details in Mobile network wizard's help. If your wap connection requires a wap proxy(again, for further information visit your operator's site), then you need to configure your computer to utilize the above-mentioned proxy(details in Windows help).

    I totally do this with my 810i on my laptop.

    When i was searching for it on my carrier's website it was called DUN

    you can connect using ANY internet profile on your mobile phone (even if it's wap, gprs or umts) i'm using gprs and got no problem by now.
    BUT.. if you have more than one Data account on your SE phone.. when you create the dial-up connection in windows the number which you dial for connection should have *X# in the end where X is the number of the data account in your mobile phone.

    For example i dial *99# when i use a phone with only one connection or *99*1# when i use my other phone which has more than one data account(internet profile).
