    Downgrade/Rollback possible?

    Hi

Have some questions before i try out Wotan at it's capacity.
I updated my W180i with SEUS and have some problems with bluetooth with my Car Radio...
I called SonyEricsson support and they say it's NOT possible to install older software version and/or firmware.
Emailed some SonyEricsson service stores and they replied that it's not possible to rollback/downgrade software and firmware at all...

Is this info correct or is it just that they don't want to do that for some reason?
Can Wotan rollback/downgrade firmware and software in my branded Swedish Vodafone W810i?
    It's CID is RED 49.
Anyone know the shipping firmware of this phone?
How do I know which firmware in the list is older than the one I have now?

    Thanks in advance.
    Kensy

All problems solved with the new firmware R4EA031...
    Thanks.

u cant change your CID to an older one if you have a 52 for exmple you cant downgrade it to 51 but the firmware you can by using xs++ or setool as long as you wont try to downgrade your CID

    gool luck

I noticed that SEUS didn't change my CID, only upgraded the version of it? It's still RED CID 49 but a newer EROM version...
I already solved my problem with this but the information could always be good to know incase of any more problems.

You have no reason to downgrade you firmware because the meaning of an update is to solve the bugs and problems identifed by the users.
Always go for the latest updates because the more you try go turn back the bigger the risk to get into trouble.
Always use original firmware, filesystem and CDA's together with original drivers.
    Make your life easier!

    But... =)
I had no problems at all with my W810i before i used SEUS to update my phone.
I was just curious about this update service so I tried it. After the update the bluetooth connection with my car radio was really messed up. One 1 call was going through the car radio, all the nextcomming was only in the phone :/ Thats why I wanted to downgrade =)
I did a downgrade of the firmware but that didn't solved my problems so I did an update to the newest and that did the trick.
In my oppiniun... If you don't experience any problems with your phone, DON'T update it.
    That's what I have learned.

I can add that i called both Pioneer support and SE support and SE rapair shop. SE/SE Repair shop said that it isn't possible at all to change to a older firmware but my newly experience is that it do is possible. They seems not to want to "downgrade", why is this?

I think that they tried to say not to change the CID.
And YES - It's possible to install an older firmware together with all coresponding FS and CDA, as long as you're not trying to downgrade the CID number.

their is no way to downgrade or rowback the CID, if it can, i think most of the problem will be solve by using CID 29, 36 or 49.........
