Create, Edit And Install Fonts For Se K800

i have come across this font. looks very nice, but look at the images attached. there are lines in the main menu left from letter Y and g.
i could not work it out with layout.xml to make main menu font appear smaller or move it just a little higher so the lines disappear.
however lines do not permanently stay visible like that, yet they are annoying when they are there.
i hope someone can work this out with layout.xml
