    Downgrade/Rollback firmware on W810i?

    Hi

Since I updated my W810i phone by using SonyEricsson update program the bluetooth function doesn't work with my car radio any more. Called Pioneer and they confirm this problem. SonyEricsson seems to changed something in the bluetooth module or something?
So now I want to downgrade/rollback to a older firmware, is this possible?
It's a Vodafone Swedish phone with the firmware R4DB005.

How much does it cost for all software and probably hardware which I need?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, downgrade is possible. But you can flash it with a newer firmware like R4EA031.

Ingredients: setool, universalbox, cruiser or... use the search button. :)

    Already tried the searchbutton ;)
I can't get the cable that shiped with the phone to work in that way all the faq's are saying. It was installed on its own and I can't install any other drivers.
Buying an expensive box with hardware and software like Setool is not an option.

So the only way is to buy a cruiser compatible cable and then use either TMS or WOTAN?

You need a 4in1 cruiser cable set or dcu60 cable. Try to use this driver: http://speederer.tvn.hu/W810.zip

Yes, you can flash TMS or WOTAN or... any free flasher, that support it. :)

My datacable should be a DCU-60 that ships with the phone? On the phone end of the cable it has total of 4 usable pins. 3 that are togehter and 1 single at the other end.

Thanks, those are installed but still can't get the USBFlash drivers to install/work? Nothing happens when removing batteri, reinsertit. press and hold C-button and connect the cable to the phone. Nothing happens. If I go to device drivers I can find unser USB Controllers: Generic Flash Device, but this doesn't accept any drivers (ggsemc.sys, ggsemc.inf).

Yes, DCU-60 that ships with the phone. It works perfectly.

Look the 1st sticky thread in the Upgrade - Debrand - Language change section. Then use the "press and hold C-button and connect the cable to the phone" method. ;)

I switched program/method... Wotan now works but not TMS for some reason.
All I need to do now is to try finding out which firmware I had before using SEUS.

Instead of creating a new thread I continue here with my wounderful questions ;)

I have CID49 and have no intrest of getting new firmware, only downgrade/rollback so the bluetooth is working with my Car Radio again, it's only to choose firmware and language to install?
With SEUS I have firmware R4DB005, does anyone know which firmware the W810i phone was shipped with? =) That's the one I want...

@Speederer: Thanks for all your help and patience.
