it should work fine with an unbrand phone you should check the flash menus, open up the theme thats linked with the flash menu in notepad you should see a line in it like this

this links the theme to the flash menu,
also make sure your flash menus are in the correct folder they should be in
tpa/preset/system/desktp/flash
