    How to Update the CID?

    how can i update my cid from 51 to 52?

    Well CID's were meant to updated only once so if you already upgraded to 51 from a lower CID then you're stuck but if not just update your phone through SEUS. and if your phone's latest firmware is cid52 you will have CID52

    The Problem is my handy has got an E-Plus Branding and it´s not possible to update the firmware via SEUS

    so, if you want to flash to your phone cid52 firmware your phone must be cid52 too. you can upload it via seus or with SETool2Lite with the file in attachment. you must open it in SETool2Lite as MISC and then press WRITE SCRIPT...;)

    But I'm not sure about one thing. If you have K800 CID49 for example and you flash it with R1KG001 K800 firmware which is CID52, will the CID get updated that way, or the phone will get damaged. I really need correct answer on this question. :)

    You will not damage your phone. You will just get phone with cid52 . But first You should run the gdfs script updating cid49 to cid52

    i don't think justme has written about upgrading CID 51 to 52 in his tut..

    btw easiest way is to update phone using SEUS... !!
    i updated my k550i to CID 52 using SEUS !
