    Wanting to Flasgh My W800i, Phone Only Detected by Sonics Se Tool Though, and It Does

    hi guys, every program that asks you to press 'c' and plug in cable (seus,davinic,semc etc) just dont do anythign at all when i press c and plug in!
    the only program which detectes my phone is sonics1120, which is probably because that is the only program which doesnt require you to press c to turn it on.however when attempting to flash i always get the error
    ''Sending superblock command no ack'' after a coupel of seconds.

    i am stuffed! i really want to flash my w800i because the buttons 1,2,3 and down and right on jouystick do not work, and i know its down to firmware, so what do i do??

    here is the message in sonics, i just need to kow what to do to solve the error (bottom line)

    I think you need to convert your phone to a Red one from the present "Brown".

    Or flash brown firmware.

    Yup, that sounds much safer than the convert option. Am not sure which converts can be rolled back and hence am generally very wary of them.

    cid:36 is easy to convert from brown to red use far+sepf and flash the db2010 red cid:36 erom to FLASH

    ..yes i am trying to flash using brown firmware.why would changing to red help, isnt the problem the erro 'Sending superblock command no ack''??

    i tried to convert to red using that program, but i kept getting error messages! is it maybe the type of cable?? (self powered usb cable 'TOTAL MULTISERVER USB CABLE' i think its called?
