XS++ 2.x Guide

nitoblu: This tutorial describes all functions of XS++ for 2.x. XS++3.1 has got FSX, can handle some more phones and doesn't need bruteforce for K750/W800 because unlocked loaders were added. The XS++2.x tutorial can be used for 3.1 as well. The only function that is not described is the FSX. I haven't got the time to update the tutorial.

Simox has released a patch creator for DB2010 firmwares. I wasn't able to test it yet but it's worth a try. It should create patches for unlocking for every DB2010 firmware.
The phones supported by USBSmart 8.4 or SE Tool 2 cracked can be full unlocked for free.

yup, i know all about xs++ 3.1 justme ;), I just finished helping a friend debrand and customize his w580i with it a few weeks ago.

i don't know if this is considered spamming, but why don't you just refer people to the very-well, already made guide to 3.1 (including FSX use), found here? it's made by one of the xs++ 3.1 developers, and is very easy to follow

Yup, Rekoil made a XS++ tutorial a few days before I made mine. I just realized it after I posted that one on SE-NSE xD

The difference is that he's still got the time to update it. It's not that much work but I don't know where to start with all that stuff that has to be done. And right now there are lots of things that are much more important than writing a tutorial ;)

On a w580i i enabled AMR.. Any way to disable that without having to reflash?

no far need any more ;)

I recommend xs++ 3.1 version, because is very easy now to upload files and you can see every file in the filesystem.Hopefully the new version will have multiupload ( that means that you can more then one file upload the same time. )

A question about custum pack file:
Which folder inside "own_custpack" ? If i decompress custum archive, there is the folder "Custom".

This one is for your custpack. Look at the first page of this post.

Do this if the custpack you need is not implemented in XS++:

4. Download the custpack you need
5. Extract the files into the “own_custpack” folder in XS++
NOTE: Make sure that the first folder in own_custpack is “tpa”
6. Do steps 1. and 2.
7. Check “Customize file system”
8. Select “Own Custpack” in the “Select phone Model” dropdown menu
9. Press the “Flash” button
