i tried using the wotan client the most up to date client actually, hearing rumors about so called free erom updates... tried on my w300i read everything possible on the net to try and fix my WSOD and without no success wow its annoying lol.... anyone got any suggestions so that therefore I could pass this info on (might I add I dont wanna hear about it unless you truly know) thanks in advance...

i think the free erom updates only for db2020 phones, any idea what caused the wsod, sometimes with the w300i the flex ribbons break or come lose.

Ive tried to use wotan to update my erom for my w580, which is a db2020, but it still wouldnt let me do it. I cleared the login info and everything.

What is "EROM"

EROM = Extended ROM. This is the base part of the software which isn't flashed in normal update operations. It controls the flashing interface, the boot loader, etc.

Guys,it is possible to update db2020's EROM to R3A022 version!!I have a K800i and i did it yesterday!You must have an account in WotanServer,though...It doesn't matter if you don't have any credits...Just an account!
