S500i to W580i?

yes it is possible....i have one....
you can use new xs++ , setool2 lite or far manager with sefp (db2020)...
search for them they are all here in forum..

Nah, that won't work. Its a hardware difference, so the fitness program, FM radio and the 'shake' feature all won't work.

It does nothing. Just stays there, pretty sure you can remove it by going into the fitness manager settings.

the w580 has motion sensors that calculate how many steps you walk. but the s500 lacks that hardware so it cant count the steps. I dunno if you can take it off but if you can it would be under fitness ssettings > stepcount

I flashed my S500i to w580i and i have got the same question like others!!!!
Shall we do a hardware modification to support radio fitness and shake control???
Or only radio!!!
