I tried to unlock my k750i with SEMC Tool 8.4 Free and it killed my phone i.e. it wouldnt turn on at all. I did manage to get it back working again. The main problem with SEMC Tool 8.4 Free is that on some CIDs like CID 49 it cannot recover phone after unlock so thats why the phones go dead. The trick arround this is to change the CDA version through xs++ so that SEUS can detect that the phone can be updated. Then SEUS can recover the phone after it is updated. Also, any unlocks i.e. SP area that were done when the phone went dead will still be active, so the phone is now unlocked. Problem solved
