all you have to do is make sure you have o supported cxc main,\.
topsony has a thread about this software, search for it and read it.
if your firmware is not supported, then just download a supported main, then flash this main to the phone, read all codes from phone, flash back original main, that was in your phone and insert the unlock codes.

I've unlocked lot's of phones with Semc 8.4. It's bullshit when people says that it's not safe and stuff. If you know how to use it, your phone will not die.
