[WTA] P1i having some weird problem

My p1i sometime cannot turn off, mean when i press the on / off button. there are nothing happened, i also noticed that sometime the p1i will not have ringtones or any sound and sometime it will hang and cannot be charged.

you could:
-end all tasks, and try again to turn off
-make a firmware update, maybe the problem is then fixed

Nope, i think it is not firmware problem. Maybe it is hardware problem.
I have tried to update the firmware and re-flash, re-flash and re-flash. It's still same.

It looks like it's having serious hardware problems. You should ask for exchange/repair.

@vencinik: Well, regardless of the fact that the P1i is a very nice phone some can still have defects of course. And if firmware updates don't help, a master-reset doesn't help the only thing it can be IS hardware issue.

So try to exchange it I'd say...

Yes, it is definitely hardware problem after i inspect at sony ericsson service center. Anyway, it's PA faulty (this is what the technician guys) told me. Anyway, i doesn't know what is PA.

your right that was hardware problem..... even u flash a new firmware in ur phone if hardware have defected it will bug u...... that was sometime factory defect.... u should request for replacement if u have a warranty.......

Memory card cannot be read is not firmware problem,
try send ur phone to warranty.
Flashing firmware not much can help.
