0000 is the default phone lock code.

what exactly was messed up? Your PIN? if so then call your service provider and ask for your PUK code, if not then give more info

if it is the pin on the sim, you will have to phone your service provider for puk code, if its the handset, try 0000 as i have said above, failing that, what if you try to update the software using the updater on the Sony Ericsson website ?

Yes for free, If its a DB2020 handset this will reset it to 0000
