Well, first you would need to identify your phone's cid, do this in setools2 lite version 1.08 by selecting your phone model and then pressing the identify button. Now withing 30sec you should attach your phone to the usb cable while pressing the "c" button. By the way, make sure your sim card and memory card are taken out of the phone and also battery is fully charged.

After you find your cid get the same cid main and FS files of the same firmware version from downloads section. Also, you'll be needing the same region customization file as the FS files. Start setools2, choose the model of your phone from the drop down list and then press the add button to add both the main and the FS files your downloaded. Now press the misc button and add the customization files, keep them zipped, no need to unzip them. Turn off your phone, take out the sim and the memory card. Put battery back in, now press the flash button on setools lite, within 30sec attach the phone by keep pressing the "c" button and attaching the usb cable. Flashing will start, do not disturb this process. It will tell you when it's done. After flashing detach the phone and put in your sim card and memory card and turn on phone. The first time you turn it on it will say "please wait" it's just applying some of the default settings etc., Then it will ask you to choose some options and that's it. It's pretty simple.

thanks for the tutorial. in the second part, do we use setool2 or setools lite? does the unlock feature also work?

No, the unlock feature doesn't work. Also, I used setool2 lite version 1.08, I believe it's the latest version. Just remember to have a fully charged battery, take out sim card and memory card. Have phone turned off, take out battery, put battery back in, choose your phone in the drop down list, hit either identify or flash, whichever function you want to do and within 30 seconds attach the usb cable to the phone while holding down the "c" key.

yes you are suppose to take the SIM card out and the memory card

Okay I followed all the steps but no prevail so far. I'm starting to think it's a driver issue. I've downloaded the drivers when I plugged in the phone. But is there a website where I can just download all the drivers that are required?

You're not supposed to wait 30sec, you are supposed to attach the phone while holding the "c" button within 30 sec of hitting the identify button, or whichever function button you want to do. Another thing i would recommend everyone do before flashing their phone is to backup the gdfs. You first choose your phone model number and then hit read gdfs and attach the phone within 30sec.
