CID36 to 49 by GSLIDE

Can anyone explain me step by step how can it be done?

Ok i will introduce my problem.
I have w800 main FW (EMEA) and FS(EMEA6) and custom pack but they are CID36 and all new k750 phones are CID49 I have heard that it can be done by gslide i mean changing my CID36 FW and FS to CID49.

Now how to this? what header i have to use and in general please step by step.

Just select your flashfile, header__DB2010_49_red_291blocks.bin, type a name and click process :-)

And what about FS i have to do the same with FS too? and about custom pack, is cid36 customization files will work on cid49 one?

Same procedure for the FS. You can choose the custpack from a dropdown menu when you flash with XS++. It'll work for your phone.

and please confirm that is that possible that both FW and FS can be 291 block is that normal?

Mmm...sounds a bit strange...are you sure you didn't slide the fs twice?
The size depends on the firmware. Check the size of your MAIN and FS files (MB).

i wouldn't g-slide the firmware it could cause problems

yes im sure but i use the header for fw and fs (header db2010 cid49 291)
Original CID 36
FW = 17.7mb (.bin) i don't remember it has how many blocks
FS = 9.51mb (.bin) 153 block
After GSLIDE
FW = 17.7mb
FS = 9.60mb
has anyone tested firmware an file systems that slided with gslide from cid36 to 49 ????

I also had CID 49 K750i. I have successfully flashed it to w800i. I have no problems. I am now very satisfied with it. For the full procedure go here orkut - login
The above is an excellent tutorial. But remember to have language settings in the drop down menu of phone xs++ in place for all the three processes.
