sony ericsson platforms

i posted this on a different sony ericsson site but nobody answered me. what is the differences between the platforms db2020 (k800) pnx5230 (z310i) and the new db3150 (k850) does it have something to do with new security modules or what?

hi dude searched db3150 have more enhanced seurity features and it is the latest one
.... although it would be difficult to modd it

hey macril. thanks for your reply but i managed to get an answer. db2020 is current platform for topend phones. pnx5230 is platform for bottom range phone and db3150 is new platform replacing db2020.

Cool I did not know that.... I have a question. can a db2000 be changed 2 db2020?
is this just the chip or intergrated into the board?

Platform can't be changed in properly way.

as i know platforms is fix for phone models. What for you need to change platforms? Since higher platforms have higher security. By the way i thought CID is controlled by platforms is it true? I don know i have seen some where that now sony has more CID to come out. If i m not mistaken i read in cruiser instruction manual.
