Talkonaut is a very good chat prog.
It even lets you make voip calls for free. (Never worked for me. coz free calls only on nokia s60 based phones!! )

MobyExplorer can't live without one
eBuddy (my new choice for Gtalk, YM, MSNIM...) it's free and works great. ex-mig33 user here.

does the gMaps application need to access the internet in order to work. or does it work like a tom-tom or navman. my phone is the c702 and its says it has GPS
