    Loads of the app I got requires WAP access which is rubbish because I can't be bothered wasting credit like that.

    some things useful for power users
    mobiola web cam(wireless web cam for phone)
    opera mini browser
    morange for messenger, rss feeds, and emails
    fpc bench (complete mobile features test bench)
    consice dictionary(handy dictionary for j2me phones)
    zecium pdf(pdf reader for java phones)
    mobiola wireless mic(for using phone as wireless mic over bluetooth for pc since the adc in my pc's motherboard got some probs)
    fring (for symbian based phones for voip based chatting over msn or googletalk)
    this configuration is good for a good student like me. almost every thing are available freely

    personally I think that the bluetooth hacks are overrated, mainly because they are not hacks, do not work 99.9% of the time and you can browse many phones' files by bluetooth anyway. not very useful. a very good app though is the operamini browser beta 4. you can zoom in and out and go in horizontal mode like an iphone! besides that i do have gmaps and facewarp :]

    im' a bit confused wit this topic, is it SW to install & use ON the phone or TO CONNECT TO phone, ie. PC via cable/BT...? is it for regular phones or smart phones?

    well...

    1 of the best app for regular (no smart) phones, IMHO is FMA (floa's mobile agent)

    for messenger(yahoo msn gtalk) i use ebuddy - it's the best. Also mig33 works fine.
    for browsing... Opera MINI rules....
    GPS navigation .. have you tried nav4all ??? it's great and FREE... :)
