I have read the turotials and manage to upload flash menus (.swf) to my flash folder on my phone...however my phone is BRANDED by AT&T...do you think this is why it doesn't work? (i used FarManager)

My phone was Rogers Branded and they had blocked Flash Menus. It is possible that your AT&T phone may have flash themes locked. I had to debrand my phone in order to use flash themes.

Yeah AT&T must have locked it...I DEBRANDED Via WANTON and now it works great...got the everchaneing theme to work too!
Best $10USD i ever spent!

no to use your flash themes there are 2 things you can do :

1.-activate for flashing your phone and use a generic cda
or
2.- you need to download the cda of your company
2.2- you´re going to edit the customize.xml

2.3 with farmanager upload to your phone the customize.xml
then you go to tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash and delete the file
DisableFlashDesktop
2.4 now you can use flash themes
