in FAR you must put your SWF files in FS\tpa\system\desktop\flash\... when you've finished you must double clik on ".." to exit the folders... then a window will prompt you if you want to close CSFS loaders (or something like that i don't remember) then click yes to unload the loaders and then disconnect your phone.

I've added sum pictures of Everchanging flash theme on my W580 to prove that it works great!!!

I have read the turotials and manage to upload flash menus (.swf) to my flash folder on my phone...however my phone is BRANDED by AT&T...do you think this is why it doesn't work? (i used FarManager)

My phone was Rogers Branded and they had blocked Flash Menus. It is possible that your AT&T phone may have flash themes locked. I had to debrand my phone in order to use flash themes.

Yeah AT&T must have locked it...I DEBRANDED Via WANTON and now it works great...got the everchaneing theme to work too!
Best $10USD i ever spent!

Wow those flash menus look amazing mystik. It's a pity At&t crippled their w580i so much. Hopefully I'll get past that soon :D

no to use your flash themes there are 2 things you can do :

1.-activate for flashing your phone and use a generic cda
or
2.- you need to download the cda of your company
2.2- you´re going to edit the customize.xml

have you confirm this yourself pp69?
I have been in the tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash folder many times and has never seen the DISABLEFLASHDESKTOP file or anything

i think the easier is to debrand your phone... with W580 CID52 and FAR you can't extract files from phone they will be corrupted... just debrand your phone and enjoy! that's my opinion:o
