DB 2020 tunning!

It is in this section, because You mustn't use PhoneXS with DB2020 ;)

K800, W850 or W880 are most popular now, so this thread can help a lot of people... ;)

What we need?

FAR with DB2020 CID49/51/52 support - look here: DOWNLOAD

daVinci for check Your's CID: DOWNLOAD

First, check Your CID using daVinci. Turn off the phone, turn on daVinci, press Read CID/Test cable and connect Your SE with "C" - on the left You will see Your CID.

Turn on FAR Manager, press F11 and take SEFP 0.10.0.51:



Take DCU-60 in Device, 921600 in Speed and Your's CID in Boot script. Mine is 52:



If all is good, press Enter the matrix. Then the loader will works. If all will be loaded, take FS [in DB2020 You can't go to FLASH]. Now You can change some files what You won't :) for example:

camera driver: ifs/settings/camera
acoustic: ifs/settings/acoustic
menu: tpa/preset/system/menu
layout: tpa/preset/layout [i don't know exactly]
font: tpa/preset/system/fonts

If You will finish copy Your new files, come back with ".." to main folders - e.g ifs, tpa, QUEUE... Then once again press dots ("..") and take YES if the question about shut down loader will appear.

Turn on the phone and be happy with Your modded DB2020! :)

not impossible 2 copy files from FS u can use a .xml file called default_upgrade.xml

so we can copy to the fone, just not back from the fone to the computer? do you need to flash a fake main like with the W810 method?

no you don't...far dose it all.....you only have to connect, copy the files needed in phone then shut down loader and then you can turn on the phone....here you go...modded phone...much easier then break into it....the only inconvenient: you cannot copy files from phone so no backup :( but you can find decompiled fs so it is ok....or you can decompile fs yourself :D

This is a very helpful post. I've trying to find modding a K800 using FAR..thanks! and hope that you can find someway of extracting files from FS...

no. if you want to see a structure of fs you must:
download your fs from the topsony (for example) then convert with main2raw and then unpack with SEFStool4...
