Thanks for the notes above, they'll help a lot of guys. My phone is a Cid 52 K800i running on R1KG001. I've been able to mod my phone since the Cid 52 plugin for Far manager came out. I've changed my menu and layout files many times without a hitch until this week.

Problem is that now when I plug in the cable while C is pressed, detection of the phone always stops at the file system server startup stage just before the GDFS activation. I try closing Far and disconnecting the phone several times and trying again but nothing.

On reading the log that's created, it shows that everything runs fine till then where there's a timeout. It will now only connect when I perform a master reset (lose all my data, apps, etc !!!!) then try and connect. It then connects as usual on the first try but the layout files in tpa/system/layout are all deleted. Custom menu files and icons however remain intact.

Somebody please help, I'd really like to have this sorted. I'm worried for my phone. R1KG001 is so damn unstable!!

    Thanks in advance.

Okay... I have a CID52 w580i and I want to upload a flash menu. I did all that was sayd in the first post and it worked. I want to upload a file from c:/flash to the phones directory for flash menus. I navigated there and then I dragged the file from the PC to my phone... now it asks this:

    What should I do?

    THX in advance :)

I too did this but used the SWF files that came with XS++ and it is taking what seems like forever and is stuck on 70 percent. Now what?
