Flashing w850i

Do i HAVE to flash a file system which matches the MAIN?
or can I use W850_R1ED001_MAIN_VODAFONE_CY_RED49.mbn with W850_R1ED001_FS_HONG_KONG_RED49.fbn

i think a white screen may display after flashing, try it, and report, :)

yep i tried, it worked perfectly except there were some buttons missing such as the left and right softkey buttons. I flashed my phone back to the hong kong firmware.
how come with this firmware W850_R1ED001_MAIN_HONG_KONG_CY_RED49
i can't see the icons set by a theme? it only shows the default icons for every theme that i set

u mean the icons of vodafone? or after u flash back to hongkong? what software do u use? and how did u customize the fone?

I used xs++ to flash my phone. I mean that using the hong kong firmware, the themes don't work properly as the icons shown in the menu are just plain default ones. Is it because the firmware is branded?

a flash theme shows the default icon? try upload the flashs again...
