k610i total crash, red led ...

hello everybody,

I'm new here, and i ave to apologize for my poor english...
I have a SE K610i from belgium, so no locked by any company. The last weeks i had some troubles with it. it was going down itselfs.
After a few weeks with this troubles and some advise from SE, i dceided to do an upgrade with official SE tools... But now it comes, everything goes well, it was upgraded and worked fine. in the evening i disconnected my battery and when i wanted to power up again... nothing, only the led above is flashing "red" 6 times. i could reed it meens an eprom fail.. true?? What now? i'm totaly lost, please help me. i have an usb cable with me, that's all.

yes blinking infra red light is dead battery or dead erom if ur sure the battery isn't dead try the repair button on setool2 lite 1.08

ok, but nothing happens when i connect my phone,still dead, really nothing... neither with "c", neither with "2+5".
any other ideas?
The soft from SE is installed so i suppose the drivers are there..

if ur erom is completey dead then your phone won't con't to the pc via dcu-60 cable if you want to fix your phone you will need a service cable

That's not for sure. Try it with wotan:
1. Delete login information
2. Take out your battery
3. Press start button
4. Press 2+5 on your phone
5. connect to DCU-60
6. insert battery (while still holding down 2+5)

I had two K610i with blinking red led. One could be repaired with an EROM repair. The other one couldn't even get connected to the PC, just like in your case. Data cable didn't help either. I always got that annoying red light when I tried to connect it. No matter what cable I used.

if i could find this soft, then i can try this. it's awful to see this lil phone dieing... :mad:

Charge the battery. This may help (if you have 1 long + 6 short blinks of the LED). You must be 101% sure that battery is not empty or dead. HINT: Don't just disconnect the battery from working phone. First switch it off and wait few seconds until LED stops to blink.

why would you want to make v630 to k610?

I have the same problem. I fix this problem by SE Tool 2 and DCU-60 cable. Full flash and the phone was OK, but in this case maybe the flash chip have to be changed.

my v603 flash with K610 FW , is ded ... , wen i start the phone my red led flashes 1 long + other 6 short. what is the problem ? , I understand that is the EROM that is busted :(( , how can i fix it ? PLS what programs i need ? PLS HELP ME
