The Bluesoleil software is most user friendly I hope. The Widcomm's is most functional (with some registry messing ;-)).

I had Widcomm, but gave away my BT dongle. Got a new one and Widcomm didn't like it, so I got Bluesoleil.

Both are fine, I haven't found anything lacking in either. I say try both and use the one you prefer. Be warned, however, that they only work with specific brands. Bluesoleil has an evaluation mode that limits your transfer to 5MB but works with most brands.

The one that comes with Windows XP sucks big time. You can't transfer many files at once without clicking "Next" three times on a darn wizard.

This is interesting. I didn't know bluetooth stack is interchangable? I thought it contain something like a driver for the bluetooth dongle that is specific and not interchangeble.
    Can anyone confirm this?

i am using toshiba but when i use to use stereo bluetooth headphones to listen music from my pc there is a gap and a problem. sometimes it repeats the first lyric of the song for about 3-5 secs then continuosly plays but there are elapses when the song is playing.
but when i use bluesoleil there's no problem listening music via bluetooth.

    bluesoleil still is no. 1

    (sory for bad english) XD
