most providers all you to send free text directly from thier website to "thier" users. if you know some web programming you can "borrow" thier code and create your own website with a drop down box and choose which provider you want to send to and TADA. i did this a while back with ATT and verizon. was going to branch out into other providers but all my friends were on those two.

most of the sites that promote free sms are spammers. They will require you to hook somebody else to them and get points and all those shit. Moreover they get a good database of mobile numbers to target advertisements.
