Hi.
The charge-in line on the motherboard's edge connector, was damaged by my grandaughter putting the bottom of the phone in her mouth:rolleyes:
The phone was given to me by her father.
I managed to get it to charge again etc, by fitting a new charging block, and removing, and re-fitting the motherboard a few times.
There was corrosion on the charge-in connector on the board.
It seems that a large amount of the original connector is gone.
It is currently accepting the charger, and my HPM82 headset, but I feel it will go again.
I was planning on purchasing a silver conductive pen with a micro tip, to lay a new conductive surface for the charge-in line on the motherboard.
Would this approach work?
I was hoping that, this would make contact with the damaged connector, and give a nice clean conductive contact for the charging block.
Thanks.
