Where is K750i R1DB001 Flight Mode Patch?

First of all sorry to dig out old thread.
I'm quite new in FW patching for SE and having looked around on various forums I have a question on the flight mode patch.
Does it really turn the GSM module down (i.e. usable in actual planes) or is it just blocking all incoming/outgoing calls?
I understand that the network indicator is no longer refreshed when mode is activated but looking at GSM status in techmode I would have expected a blank screen.
Any idea?
