What is the utility of making a GDFS ?

i want to know if I must create a GDFS with Setoll2 Lite, and what will be the size of the file generated by the soft.

You don't have to make a backup of your GDFS, but you should do it before you start flashing or customizing your phone. If you do sth wrong it might save your phone. Your GDFS could be damaged and without a backup you might not be able to revive it.
The size will be rather small (around 60-100KB), because SE Tool lite doesn't make full GDFS backups. But it's enough to bring your phone back to life if the GDFS gets damaged.

are you sure you clicked "read gdfs" and NOT "write gdfs"?

Yes I have clicked "READ GDFS".

Have you tried with the new version of Setools? (1.08) Maybe that could help.

The version 1.08 WORKS.
My network and my speaker are back.
"Write GDFS" is now operationnal in setool2 lite. My k550i was off-duty during 3 weeks...
Now it will become a W610i.
