if you need for setool2lite for this firmware exist in "rest folder"
if not exist for your firmware you can make it with program make rest in setool2lite 1.8 program( with ssw2rest.exe)

Hi, I've just flashed my Sony Ericsson V630i which was locked to vodafone. everything seemed to work fine. When i turned my phone on i got a white screen for a minute or so, then got the Please Wait... after a few more minutes the phone reboot as normal. But i still got the Insert correct PIN. I turned off my phone removed the battery again and replaced, but cannot get the phone to turn on. Just get a red flashing light!!!

You mean this ( a sign of a dead erom is normally a blinking red led in the infra red port. )

I tried uploading patches onto my W580, but for some reason I can't get the patches to work. I got a few R8BA024 patches, and every time I tried to upload them onto my phone, it said patch values differ. I'm sure that I got the right patches for my phone, since when I open up the vkp file, it says "W580_R8BA024" on the first line.

The firmware I'm using is the Hong Kong R8BA024.

I did continue to apply the patch. After it said the patch was successfully applied, I turned on my phone to find that the patch had failed. The system graphics were missing.

Nope, it still says that the patch value differs.

Would this be because I'm using Hong Kong firmware?
