easy guide for flashing by xs++

a few mates pm me how to flash by using xs++
the lattest version is 1.6.8beta.
here i have written an easy guide
if there is something wrong, plz point out
btw, my english sucks.:D

1. install the usb driver.
2. put the MAIN and FS file in the same folder as xs++.exe.
3. run xs++.exe, click "Connect"
4. turn off ur phone, hold "c" button on the phone and connect
it to ur computer.
5. check the CID of ur phone. download the corresponding MAIN,
FS and Custom files.


6. add the MAIN(***.mbn) and FS(***.fbn) files, click "Flash".


7. after a few minutes, it will show the words in the left block
"Disconnected... Unplug the phone", now u have flash the
MAIN and FS to ur phone
8. unplug ur phone, take off ur battery, put on ur battery.
9. create a series of folders in the same folder as xs++.exe
\files_to_upload\tpa\preset\custom
put the unpack custom files in the folder "\custom"
10. again run xs++.exe, click "Connect".
hold "c" button on the phone and connect it to ur computer.
11. select "Customize File System".


12. select "Settings", select "BreakXS"
13. select "FSX", click "Start FSX".


14. a few minutes later, it will show the words in the left block
"++ FSX was successful
Disconnected... Unplug the phone"
15. unplug ur phone, take off ur battery, put on ur battery.

turn on ur phone, here we go, u have flashed ur phone.

yes, but the lastest firmware only supports 52.
u can updata ur k550 to R6BC002 through Internet or ur phone network,
ur cid will change to 52.

just updata the phone from k550_R1JD001_RED51 to k550_R6BC002_RED52
by using "Update_Service" through, which u can get from
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?...39&numItems=18
but i can't find the download link now, i dont know why.

another method is through ur phone network, i will cost gprs flux.
it's in ur phone's setting/general/updata service.

after updata, ur k550 will be cid 52, dont need to flash.
of course, the firmware is still k550i.
then u can flash it to w610i using the latest firmware of w610.
