They are the same. I have my K550i flashed to W610i and the camera quality is the same. The only difference is the menu of the camera and that opening the cover starts the camera. What i do is open the cover and press the camera button and that does it for me. I think its not a significant loss while gaining better music player, flash menus and other things.
