Problem with w810i

hi everybody. it my first time posting here. I got a w810i and last night i was sending some JAR. game via USB into my phone.

When i unplug the USB off my phone and it should be restart automatically.

But instead restarting it start flashing white screen on and off.

I try to take out the battery for 2~3 minutes and restart the phone. When the phone turn on it only show the SE logo and start flashing white screen again.

I even try to hook it back on the computer but the computer can't even detect the phone...

Can someone help me please?all my important stuff in the phone, i really in deep shit :( thanks

download SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) from SE homesite and try an upgrade, or flash your phone again (there are plenty of info on how to do it, just search on this forum) or take it to a service. next time before removing cable from phone Safely Remove Hardware.

tuko the problem you have is a WSOD, or White Screen of Death. I am preety sure this can be fixed by reflashing a main and FS to your phone. Next time when you unplug your phone, right click the Green arrow in your toolbar(for windows) and select Eject/Unplug etc.. Then eject USB Mass Driver or w/e it's called. Hope all goes well,

I never use usb....i just use my memory card reader. That way, it doesnt affect the phone

i just went to the phone service today and told them the situation.

But all they told me was to get a new phone and got a godamn wackass samsung.

Wally_Dog said i got the white screen of death and i wanna learn how to flash it.

Is there any guide for newbie like me?

just hook your phone up to your comp with usb and run http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?...21839&esi=true
and when it says u have latest firmware, continue anyway? click yes

Had the same problem before... it was an issue with the usb connection to my pc that fixed it. Maybe try a new port/drivers?
