w810i flash menus HELP

Hi,

I am very much a n00b on the scene have read some threads but they have just confused me even more so please help me :o

I am trying to get flash menus on to my SE w810i like the ones in this video

I have read the instructions and am i right in thinking if i download this for my phone

I will be able to install the ''orbit'' theme on my phone?

you need to provide some info. orbit is allready installed on th phone from factory. I guess your phone is branded. You have 2 options:
1. enable flash desktop on the brnaded firmware
2. reflash the phone with generic software

look around a bit on this forum, you'll find the answer to both options.

@new2this: I suggest you just debrand your phone... it's EXTREMELY easy, but time consuming. All you have to do is Get XS++, a MAIN, FS. Then, Open XS++ and connect your phone. Then go to Flash. Check Flash Firmware Main, FS, and Customize File System. Brose for all the files you need, and in the Customize one, select one nearest where you live. Then click Start Flash. Wait about 2-7 hours and you have a debranded phone. Or, you can do it via FAR.

Wally_Dog: there is a faster way to debrand W810i it takes max 20 min with FAR

I know Khaba, but I could never get FAR to work, so I steered clear of it. Also some people that flash the fake main flash it all weird and break their phone.

If you want flash on your phone, you need to upload the orbit flash after the debranding. You can use Far or u can use the XS uploader. Both do their job quite nice!
