First of all... HOW do you applying patches? Step by step please. I'll try to help.
(I think you do something wrong...)

I don't mind the warranty cause I got the phone from a friend for around 50 bucks :)

I think I figured it out myself, I flashed my phone with the W800 R1BC002 firmware and tried the patches for that firmware and everything worked out.

My theory is that the Vodafone branded firmware I had was what caused the problems. If someone has the K750 R1DB001 unbranded firmware and could confirm this it would be nice.

But as far as I'm concerned it's working for me now, and I got rid of those annoying vodafone menues :)

PS. I used FAR+SEFP and connected the phone and went into flash. Then I highlighted memory and dragged and dropped the vkp-patches and the window popped up about installing a vkp-patch. I pressed ok and it did some checking and then a red window popped up saying "Data mismatch". So I think I did it right cause I read alot of guides and followed them step by step. So it has to be the vodafone-branded firmware that's different.

You absolutely right, branded phones has different firmware, therefore some patches can work.
