Flash Menu for W880

does somebody know how I put some new flash menu in my W880?

Easiest way for me to add a Flash-menu to W880i is to use Setool2lite.

First of all make aTree/Path in a folder like this

\tpa\preset\system\desktop\flash

in outer folder "flash" do You put your new "mymenu.swf" (name it whatever you like)

Now create a zipfile "menu.zip" (name it whatever you like)
and drag complete Tree/Path above into that Zip.

Now You are ready to run Setool2lite,
load the zip in "MISC files:" textbox and then press Flash-button

When soft indicates it is ready, you have the new Flashmenu uploaded.

To use that Flashmenu in any theme, You need to edit the reference
in Theme.xml which are the config stored in Your theme file.

To edit a thm-file, Rename it with a file-extension Tar
now You can open it with any TAR-Compatible Compressor-soft
and then edit Theme.xml inside it.
When done You just change fileextension to Thm again.

For this editing I use Total Commander

and how can i safely debrand my w880? What does it mean when i debrand my phone? And eventualy if i would like to make it back as it originaly was what should i do?

Debranding means removing the branded software and flashing the phone with the generic(SE default) software. You only have to do this if u bought ur phone from for example:- Orange, vodafone, T-Mobile. Caz they have disabled the use of flash menus in their branded software.

after the desktop directory put your .swf file in it. what you're doing here is making another direcctory by the name of flash

This is the method I used some time ago and it works perfect, the only problem is finding some flash menus, the only ones I can find are for W810 and not W880. Any one have a link to W880 swf and thm files. Thanks
