Dead K750i

I have a k750i given to me, it seems to be dead but the screen flashes on and off when the charger is connected, also the led in the ir port flashes once about every 3 seconds, i have tried wotan, kk and xs++ but none will recognise the phone, please help

If XS++ and even Wotan don't recoginze the phone, then you must use a service cable instead of DCU-60..

if its like that and you need a service cable, might as well toss out the phone...buying a cable and buying a good 2nd hand unit is about the same cost

i might keep it for spares, its in too good a condition to throw out, thanks anyway

Depending in which country you are the options are different :)
As far as you have described - the only proof is that the charging part works - meaning that some other (physical) part might be broken.
First question that comes to me is : have this phone been in contact with liquids? :)
