I know, it's so annoying. Maybe jagheterfrederik and gbrooks will add that into the next version of XS++... binary answer saving! It's ridiculous, I know. Once it took me 8.5 hours JUST to bruteforce, then for some reason it took 1.5 hours to upload the files >.> it's so tedious.

8.5 hours is crazy! Glad that the battery will last that long, I was stating to get worried mine would die before it finishes. I'm now at 7 hours of bruteforce, 2 hours longer than last nights flash!

*edit: think i spoke too soon. it has now stopped trying to bruteforce. Maybe the battery did die, guess I will have to start all over again, this IS getting very tedious!

that's how i have it, but, i have to choose some CDA from the XS++, if not, i get and error. what do i have to do to use the custompack saved in the own_custumpack folder?

well... last night, i was flashin' (with the help of this tutorial xD) and my cell phone worked, with the new FW, i used theses ones:

K750_R1DB001_MAIN_EU_1_CL_RED49.mbn
K750_R1DB001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED49.fbn
K750_CDA102338_104_Telefonica_Mexico.zip

so... it's suposed to work in spanish, but i can't use spanish, it isn't there hahaha, lol.

i don't really care if i have spanish or not, but i guess i'm doing something wrong.

anther thing... today i was... let's say... bored, and i tried to flash my K750i with a w800 FW, i searched some files, and i found these:

W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA_RED49.bin
W800_R1BC002_FS_AMERICA2.bin

i couldn't find the custom pack, so i used the APAC1 in the XS++, started ok, but just before finishing the main FW i got an error saying that the last chunk was damaged or something like that, and i turned on my phone, and surprise... my phone started with the "Start Phone or Music only", i searched for the walkman player and it's there xD with one issue... it recognizes all tracks, but it doesn't recognizes the artists, i can listen only the music on "tracks".


another issue is that my memory stick doesn't "refresh", i have to put it when my phone is on to "refresh" the memory and access the files on it.

i guess it's reaaally good that my phone starts seing that it was an error hahahaha

so... what should i do with those problems? hahaha

@metaldrume, I do not know what went wrong with the no Spanish on your phone... did you go to Language and select Spanish or Espanol instead of use SIM Language? And the K750 > W800, I have absolutely no idea, I have never touched a K750 in my life, but I do know that if you were to convert it, you would use all w800 stuff

yes, i didn't selected the SIM lenguaje, but... it's ok haha.


now i'm dealing with the memory stick issue, anyone has converted a K750 to W800 with CID49?

After my 4th attempt, I have now successfully debranded and updated my firmware!!!

This last time only took 30mins to brute force!! much better than 7 hours and then stopping!!

Thanks for that post but when i connect my phone to XS it tells me that the firmware etx is N/A so ive no idea what to download. Its a w800i and wont turn on apart from a red light on the infared, am i waisting my time flashing it?

XS++ has now been updated, to version 1.6.6

It will now BreakXS DB2020 phones, looks like I should have waited the two weeks to do my flashing, would have saved me a lot of brute forcing stress!

*edit: now at version 1.6.7
