    W810I noob with WSOD

    Firstly apologies complete newb here.
    I had WSOD.
    I'm using xs++ to flash.
Managed to get to start up but beleive I've used wrong FS and main combo.
    I had:
    Model info:
    W810i
    Software info:
    R4CF002 prgCXC1250321_ORANGE_HN R4CF002
    Customization info:
    CDA102494/51 R9A
    cxc1250324 R4CF002
    ORANGE_GEN

    but now have
    Model info:
    W810
    Software info: R4ED001
    Customization info:
    CDA102494/51 R9A
    ORANGE_GEN

Do I simply reflash with FS R4CF002 ?
I get configuration error on the phone at start up.

And of course don't have enough posts or time on your forum to dl the files :(

    Many Thanks.
SOLVED NOW - Configuration error is caused by FarManager NOT copying over files.
Go back and do this bit again and then phone starts in Romanian but language select to your language and all OK.

Tried this just got configuration error again.
Is it because FS & MAIN are not R4CF002 ?
    OK FINALLY !!!!
FarManager wasn't copying over the files.
Anyone with "configuration error" this is your problem.
Repeat the process until the files copy.
When started up had to change the language but all o.k. now.

Help , my 810i has died. It has recently been freezing but now displays the WSOD symptoms. My brain is boggled by reading all of the posts. I've tried using SEUS but it fails to connect, XS ++ recognises the phone and displays the following message.

    Port status Active
    Baseband ID 8040
    Hardware platform db2010 Marita compact
    Protocol version 3.1

Thats it, it tells me the device is opened but I have no other option

    Help.

How did it die? Did you back up the GDFS? Do you have the latest version of XS++, if not, get it. I think the latest is Ver 2.2.
