After I choose the model, do I just click finalize?
FIRST you select your phone model. Then you connect it.
And PLEASE post your log/what happened when you ask questions like this.
Ok so heres what I did after removing the battery, I pressed and hold 2+5 and connected it on my cable.
After that I put the battery in.
The wotan log then displays this
DB2010 detected
LOADER ok
FC ID: 89 7E
EROM: RED CID49
OTP: RED CID49
OTP: IMEI xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
GDFS: K700

So I select w810 and click continue...
then wotan client tells me that I can edit the Main and file system files
so what do I do after that?
Oh sh*t, your phone is DB2010...Wotan doesn't repair DB2010 EROM.
Sorry, I should have already seen that in your last post.
You will need SE Tool 2 lite in order to write GDFS to your phone. Make sure you make a backup of your GDFS (with SET2l) before you do anything else.
BTW: what's the problem with your phone? What did you do with it, before you wanted to upgrade your EROM with Wotan?
Oh okay, out of the blue my w810i started hanging up. Then when I tried to turn it off and back on it displays the white screen though sometimes it boots up to the menu for awhile.
So I did a master reset but it didnt work, when I checked my phone status, it displayed my unit as k700.
So Im not really sure if its the EROM or GDFS thats wrong with it.
Have you tried a simple firmware flash?
Try that first. If it doesn't work flash you EROM. But remember to backup your GDFS first!
ok thanks, does flashing the erom affect the GDFS?
