Cross-flashing SE Phone

Can we cross flash a k510 to a higher-end k-series phone ??
That upgrading concept works in the famous case of cross-flashing
a k750 to w800 based on similarity in the hardware platform which
makes the pair more like identical twins ..
So is it possible to extend this idea to similar cases ???

BTW , I have a related question :
Can any experienced forum member give us a hardware-platform
chart of most SE phones currently available so as to know which SE
Phones accept cross-flashing ??
What I mean is an exact hardware specifications of each model ,and not
info like which model is DB2020 and which is DB2010 etc. as this will
be only a general info ,useless in this case ..

adenali, I am pretty sure only k750 ->w800 can be done currently

I don't think you can flash different firmware on K510i. Neither Wotan nor DaVinci lists it in their operations list.
Phones that can be crossflashed (as far as I know):

• K750,D750,W800

• K600,K608,V600

• K610,K610im,V630

• Z800,V800,V802

nope, cant be done with k510 because there is no higher end counterpart...

Can I upgrade an old V600i to a V630? Or is this completely impossible?

There is really no other higher end K series phone close to the K510 that you could possibly flash it to. The K510 is one of the smaller K series phones out there. The rest are much bigger in size. The only other one close to it's size is the W200 but I'm not sure if they can be crossflashed.

I don't think you can convert it, because V630 is a DB2020 and the V600 is a DB2000.
