W900i to flash or not to flash?

Hi,

I have a one year old W900i with firmware R5AE003. Should I upgrade my firmware or not? I've browse through the firmware download but it doesnt list any updates each firmware has. What's the difference between my firmware and the latest listed in the downloads R5BC004? Thanks in advance.

New firmwares have bugs removed which were present on the previous version.There are also camera,sound & etc drivers updated.
Try detecting ur cid.
Maybe u could flash it with phone xs++.
But don't do it if u r not sure what u r doin.

Don't use phone xs++ b'coz the brute forcing process takes a lot of time about 5 hrs & it also freezes sometime while activating FS anyways u update u r phone using SEUS its very safe & u will take less time compared to XS++

Umm..
I guess u'll have to take a shot with phone xs++..
or u can use se update service if it's not branded
..But if ur phone's working fine,I say u dom't need to flash it.

Take out the battery for a moment- reinsert and try to start the phone...

i bought my w900i about a year ago. everything was working fine except now when i turn it on, it starts fine except for this orange bar across the screen. and once i get to the menu... all the top icons are there like t signal and the battery. below that where the wallpaper is supposed to be, it just shows the call and menu options. no images seem to show up and i can't even navigate on the menu. the icons don't show. neither do any other words. will flashing my phone fix this problem?

i usualy work with phone xsxs++ and FAR+sefp ... but seus is safer ... or use service :)
