    Camera Trouble With w800i

    Hi Friends,
Im having a little trouble after a case change with the camera unit on my w800i, every so often it will switch the Camera on ready to take a picture without me opening the latch, is this a commen problem?
Im slightly suspecting the Camera Ribben as the camera shutter switch is attached to that a would appear the most obvious cause of the problem, i have a k750 with GDSF damage so i could try the ribben off that but im unsure if its same ribben, will the ribben fit straight in the w800i or do i need to seek out one from a w800i?
Can someone please confirm if the k750 ribben fits on the w800i please.
    Thanks
PS: i didnt even need to change the case either, i later decided i didnt like the white k750 case, i just couldnt agree with the keypad, took me like 30 mins to write a simple sms lol.

Both K750 and W800 use same ribbon cable. Both have the same hardware except the keypad and casing.

Thanks for confirming it mate, but im currently running the k750 ribbon, the problem still seems to be here, so my next guess would be the shutter mechanisim on the back plate (must have got damaged when changing case's), ill stick on the white k750 back plate for a day or 2 and see how it goes.
Thanks once again for confirmation :)

You should look for faulty part in shutter. To test, take put the back housing. Try to use your finger to play with the switch. If the act normally, that mean you shutter.

Yup its definatly the shutter mate, but unfortuanatly i tried to mod my white k750 case and but a bigger speaker hole to try squeeze a little more sound out and now it just looks wrong so im stuck with my faulty shutter just now lol (its a shame really as it was probably the nicest k750 casing iv ever seen, it was kinda like the colour of the white w810 cases ill stick a pic up tomorrow lol).
PS: i plan on giving a thanks to your post but its not letting me thank you when using Opera Mini
