I have 2 W900 phones. Since those days they were called Sakura...

So i tried to flash them the other day using XS 3.1 in order to change language and put on the greek one...

Well the XS 3.1 denies to flash them and it gives me this ...

It is not the first time i try to flash prototypes after so long time, but one way or another i have succeeded.
With this one, the only thing i managed was to ruin both of them, as after this step they no longer turn on.

The 1st one, I can hear it working, so after i press the on/off button, i can hear the sony ericsson sound, but the screen remains white...

The other one, no longer turns on, it just has its screen flashing... on and off...

Would you be kind enough to retract those memories and knowledge of yours and let me know how to revitalize these goodies???

I trully hope you can help me...

I am looking forward hearing from you soon on this!!!

Thank you so much in advance!!!

    Kind regards from sunny Greece.

    Yannis

Flashing protos is always risky and you've run out of luck with these two. I doubt you'll get them to work again.

    Re: W900 cannot be flashed

    Hi there boysie,

i am gretefull that you helped me the other day with the w800/

Well i was thinking if i can work with a third W900 which i found today and it's perfectly OK!
It is a prototype, but it is healthy and already has greek on it.

Could i somehow use it to clone the others?

Maybe backup the GDFS and restore it to the others, and then try to flash them?

Or do something with the EROM???

Jyst thinking in written, without being sure what the hell i'm talking about ;-)

Any help or hint would be appreciated!!!

    Cheers mate.
