Lol I feel like such a noob

Ya anywho, I'm looking to customize my phone with some custom flash menus. I seem to have heard a lot about firmware and I think I'm pretty clear on which one to download. The thing is though...do I upload it onto my phone and if I do, which file do I copy it into? Also, where should I be putting my drivers?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dohh_boy If your phone supports working with far plugin you have to copy drivers to your phone.

Oh sorry, I have a W810i.
Also, would anyone know how I check to see if my phone is branded or not so I know which tutorial to follow?

to see if your phone has flash menus enabled go th your themes folder and look for equalizer theme and apply it, if your menu changes, (like your those 12 icons are replaced to another layout) then flash menu work, of you still have 12 icons (your menu didn't change) then you need to enable flash menus or reflash with a generic firmware.

Alright are my actual icons supposed to change? Or just the background? And I've read the tutorial but I don't think I know how to upload firmware onto my phone or where to upload the flash drivers still.
