Problem with K800i

hi ppl, i dont know if its the right oplace to put this, but here it goes!

I´ve got a k800i, today when i tried to make a call i couldnt ear the people who i was talking with, and also the beep beep sound.

the funny thing is that i can listen music.


what should be the problem?


i think that if i flash my phone, it will continou the same, or not?

why dont you try the sony ericsson update service and not flashing?..but m8 i trully believe that you should take the receipt , the mobile and bring it back were you bought it(i suppose it is not a software problem as long as you hear music)5 days hasnt passed since you bought so give it a try!

I don't think it's a software problem. Get it to a service center.

Your speaker is propably dead. If it's a new phone you can propably demand a new one.

Also trying Master Reset first would do.

I had the same problem and after a master reset it worked =)

its just only the volume of ur call mode... it has separate volume for music and call.. try to make a call and try to press + volume. u will see that it is in very low level. evrytime u turn off ur phone it will back to default volume which is lvl 1 or 2 only. try to max it!! then try to make new call.. u can hear it clearly now..
