whats the difference between...
OPT CID and EROM CID

OTP CID is from factory, cant to changed.EROM CID can be easyly upgraded (in SEUS for example) but hardly downgraded.You mobile can have different OTP CID and different EROM CID,but EROM CID cant be lower than OTP CID.

OK, i have EROM CID 52 , i've been trying to change my manu icons using SX++ and it fails.. i get

do i have to go back to an old CID? 49? and if so, what will i loose? isn't CID 52 better?

CID 49 is better cuz it's easier to customize, CID means the security level of the phone, the higher the CID the harder to customize. now that your phones EROM CID is 52 it's hard to downgrade back to CID 49. Try to customize your phone with XS++ v1.5, it has CID 52 support

XS++ has CID51/52 only flash support but no customization!You can flash MAIN firmware and filesystem but without finalization.

you are right, the I guess CID 51/52 can be finalized only with a paid service like DaVinci.
ster1357 - you could try to talk to the DaVinci team and ask them if they can downgrade CID.

I not think its possible downgrade CID with Davinci :confused: Can be possible with Cruiser tool and service cable ...

dosent erom CID downgrade stand for flashing a lower cid erom??? like for his cid 49 otp and cid 52 erom... isn't it possible to flash a cid 49 erom for downgrade??? i think using seus or some master tool like cruiser/twister???
