K770i memory stick not available

Hello,

I am new here on TOPSONY, and I am of rather old age (71). Mobile phones don't belong to my special fields of knowledge. I have got a K770i from my youngest son. Always when I start the phone, it asks me whether to format the memory card. But whatever I answer: when I look on the Info of the manager, it tells me that here is no memory stick available. But there is one inserted, a Sony Ericsson M2-card with 4 GB (but the same scene with a 256kb-card!).
I have formatted the card in an adapter on my pcbut it doesn't work neither with FAT nor with FAT32. I have reset the phone, I have flashed it (WotanServer). All is going well, but the memory card will not be accepted.

Can anyone here give me any advice how to solve the problem?

there is problem with the M2 slot, this is beyond your level. you need to get it to a service center
