Upgrading or repairing the EROM (FOTA) in phones CID 49 or CID 51 with Phone XS

The OTP CID (One Time Programmable memory) and EROM CID of a phone might be protected by different CIDs, usually the case in newer phones.

yep,but one cid is unchangeable(i think is the HArdware-cid ) and another cid is moable (the software cid), am i right?

I understand that to be correct OTP CID doesn't get changed when seus (sony ericssen update service) updates your CID.

My OTP EROM K800 is 51. I updated to 52 via XS++ so my OTP is 51 and my FOTA is 52.

Has anyone tried flashing a FOTA 51 to a handset like mine? ie my original OTP is 51. Would SETool Lite work with this....?

Can u define what "handset" is (im not really good in english). but u have to use cid52 for flashing

I guess what the question is can you load a cid 51 FOTA onto a phone that has a OTP CID 51, even tho its been upgraded to FOTA CID 52?
